Responsibilities
Participate in sprint to analyze requirements, design test cases, execute them and log issues
Take ownership of a feature, from its requirement identification to its production release, including its automation and inclusion in regression test suite.
Create & maintain automated test cases, including test data, and execute them from cloud on multiple devices.
Troubleshoot issues, log them and work with Dev team to ensure closure/resolution. • Execute test cases and test scenarios to validate software functionality, usability, and performance.
Identify and document defects, and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
Conduct exploratory testing to uncover issues not covered by test cases.
Skills & Experience
7+ years of experience, including 3+ years in Automation Testing using Selenium • Well versed with Python and pytest
Excellent in analyzing requirements and designing test cases & test data • Experienced in working with JIRA, Confluence, TestRail, etc.
Worked with data-driven/keyword-driven/hybrid/BDD frameworks
Strong analytical & troubleshooting skills, with attention to detail
Hands-on knowledge of CI/CD pipeline would be helpful
Bachelors or Masters degree in a STEM field
Experience in manual software testing.
