Test Execution and status update. After an automation test execution via cypress the results of the execution should be posted back to the TEST CASE the automation was executed against.
Cypress automation should have the capability to take screenshots of the execution. It should also be able to post back the screenshot, any log file, txt file, csv file etc. to the test case work item as attachments. After execution status is updated on test case work item should show the status outcome “passed” or “failed” and the attachments should be accessible / downloadable
When creating a new test case (not converting selenium to Cypress) showcase that only the test case name and acceptance criteria are needed in the ADO work item. The remaining items – test steps, expected outcome / results and actual outcome are captured clearly be the automation output from Cypress and attached back into ADO test case as execution results.
Showcase a data driven test case using Cypress. Also investigate any ability to use attachments from Test Case work items to execute Cypress data driven tests. Create a Test Plan; Showcase manually triggered execution and automatic execution using Git actions, while fulfilling criteria from items 1, 2, 3

Job Description
The Quality Assurance Analyst’s role is to develop and establish quality assurance standards and measures for the information technology services within the Georgia Dept. of Correction’s (GDC). This individual will work with QA lead in owning both Manual & QA automation processes, developing and implementing testing techniques, and planning the approach to sufficiently test the functionality of new and existing applications. This will include writing test plans and scripts for tracking defects and fixes in product development, software application development, information systems, and operations systems.
This role will require being onsite at the downtown Atlanta office two (2) days out of the week and three (3) days working remote.
Develop/execute test plans and test scripts.
Work with a cross-functional team to establish/maintain consistent test methodology. Design and build automated test suites. Utilize innovative testing technologies to develop the product’s automation testing strategy.
Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
Understand business requirements and develop functional test plans/test cases for new and existing web applications.
Test any new software to ensure integration into company systems meets functional requirements, system compliance, and technical specifications.
Work with product owners and developers to understand requirements and resolve issues.

Design, develop, and enhance/maintain the QA automation framework and tests using Selenium Web Driver.
Execute automation scripts prior to production deployment while ensuring that products render and function properly on all major web browsers and mobile devices. Review regression test cases and create a library of test scripts.
Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and user acceptance testing as necessary.
Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products.
