The Daily Mail is a British middle-market tabloid newspaper.

London-published. It's the UK's most-read daily newspaper, founded in 1896. 

The Mail on Sunday was started in 1982, and the Scottish and Irish editions in 1947 and 2006.

The paper's content appears on MailOnline, which is administered separately and has its own editor.

It has a primarily female readership, with 52–55% women.
