We are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer with at least 5+ years of experience to assess software quality throaugh manual and automated testing. You will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches.
In this role, you should have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. If you are also competent in executing test cases and are passionate about quality, we’d like to meet you.
You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the entire software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.
You will be working as part of our international team, working directly for a UK client. Responsibilities:
Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet the current needs.
Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
Monitor debugging process results.
Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions.
Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts. Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
Must-Have
Comfortable working with OpenAPI specs to perform manual API testing with tools such as Postman.
Advanced UI automation experience using Cypress, WebdriverIO, Puppeteer or similar. Performance and Load testing using JMeter or similar.
Preferred
Security and Pen testing (Burp suite).
Advanced API automation testing experience.
Familiarity with BDD testing frameworks such as cucumber.
Familiarity with OAuth2/OpenID connects for authentication flows in API testing. Mobile app testing physically and virtually.
Azure DevOps test plans.

For a senior/lead: Lead team and worked to align on scope from testing requirements, test planning, strategy, automation development/execution to delivery/post implementation monitoring of applications and integration pipelines. Expertise in building pipelines using/testing data flows and pipelines through Azure Data Factory.
Experience integration Quality frameworks with CI/CD pipelines is desired Additional Technologies: Kafka, Azure ESB (Enterprise service bus), Astronomer, a plus. Exceptionally self-motivated and directed.
